Microsoft
Posted on: 24 Sep 2021
Job Location : United States - US
Job Description :
This legal professional will be responsible for:
- developing a theory and system for identifying CELA strategy-aligned digital transformation impact investments;
- helping CELA leaders prioritize and direct their teams’ digital transformation investments;
- driving digital transformation projects, including projects for MCB and the broader CELA Customer Experience and Policy (CxP) organization;
- developing and delivering communication and influence approaches and content that help internal stakeholders align and act; and
- engaging customers, partners, and other external stakeholders in industry, academia, and public sector to support their digital transformation, empowered by Microsoft technology.
Your work advancing innovation and transformation using organizational management systems, influence, and communication is a critical part of our success. Your core responsibilities have three primary components that form a strategize-drive-amplify virtuous cycle. * Identify the problems we can solve that create the most value for our primary stakeholders.
- Develop perspectives on resources and capabilities we need to solve those problems and how we help people see the value.
- Drive work against those problems, tell stories that highlight outcomes and what we learn, and retarget based upon what we learn.
You do not need to be a deep technologist to be excellent at this role. But you must want to learn about Microsoft’s technologies and find ways to apply them to your work and your colleagues’ work. Your personal journey of technological discovery and growth is a feature because it brings a valuable perspective to your team. You will have all the technical support you need to thrive, but you must drive your engagement with our people and the subject matter of innovation to produce influence that drives outcomes.
You need to have done legal work as an expert level attorney-practitioner. Your job is to help legal professionals find different ways to think about and do their work. Being fluent in the work and a member of their tribe is instrumental in developing the trust and influence that helps you understand unexpressed preferences, be heard by your customers, and advance the mission through hidden resistance.
You must be a great teammate who looks after and cares for your squad. We are a small team that does hard, fun, work in high pressure environments at high speed. We win and lose. We laugh and cry. And we do it all as a team that embraces success is learning, and failure is not trying. We thrive because we trust and support each other. We also laugh a lot and do not take ourselves too seriously.
A great sprint of work for you might look like:

- Storyteller and Ambassador. Engage with customers and partners to promote and represent the CELA digital transformation portfolio to drive industry awareness of Microsoft solutions and otherwise enhance the company’s reputation.
